ASL Aviation and AMETEK MRO AEM have announced a new agreement for the provision of landing gear services for ASL’s European fleet of B737 Next Generation and Classic aircraft.
The agreement covers the provision of overhaul services and loan gear sets until the end of 2026 and builds on ASL’s existing relationships with AEM, who have been an ASL supplier for many years.
James George, Head of Procurement at ASL Aviation Holdings, said: “This agreement epitomises the desire for ASL to create strategic partnerships with suppliers of the calibre of AEM. It allows us to consolidate the overhaul activity for landing gears across our European B737 fleet and benefit from cementing a relationship with a trusted supplier in whom we have great confidence will deliver an excellent service for us.”
Andy Wheeler, Divisional Vice President and Managing Director of AEM, added: “Investment in streamlining our processes, alongside our focus on skills development, means that AEM can ensure sustained repair and overhaul services as the industry’s demand for landing gear services increases and ASL grows operations.”
